Could have been so much better - the food was excellent, the service abysmal. Our waiter paid no care or attention to us, would barely register our orders, called at us from across the floor, broke off taking our orders to speak to someone else, grabbed menus before we had finished ordering, took no care when taking plates... Thankfully we were able to laugh at how bad it was.It wasn't quite so humorous when we withheld the service charge at the end, only to be told that "if service charge is referenced on the menu, you have to pay it". I've later found out this isn't true if the service is substandard. I probably wouldn't have written this review had I not been forced to pay the tip though, so I wonder whether it was worth the waiter's insistence...Worth saying however, that at one point we were served by a different waiter who seemed very good. In other words, I hope you have better luck with server if you go, because everything else about this restaurant is to be recommended.
Went here as a group for a meal before a show at Union Chapel - the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, the staff friendly, and the food both tasty and reasonably priced - would recommend for sure!
This place is huge! It was such a surprise, ideal for groups. Food is good, its excellent value for money and they serve big portions. Its a nice experience!
I've eaten a lot of Italian food in my life (including in Italy) and I think this might honestly be my favorite Italian restaurant overall. I've been three times now and tried several dishes. The food is consistently awesome as is their service. I will definitely be a regular!
I've been a patron of this place for four years and I've never been disappointed. I come often and the food is perfect, service attentive and ever so catering. The decor and location is really neat. Its actually one of the few Italian restaurants that I think are worth it without fail. In my opinion it has the best balance between cost, portion size and great dining experiences.
