I recently sold my place through Winkworth Islington and would highly recommend them. Hamish, Sean and the rest of the team are professional, friendly and honest. I tried selling my place with an online agent but I was getting no luck. I swapped to Winkworth and they did two things that impressed me. Firstly, the volume of bueeing was much higher and even had the first viewing the same day I listed them. Secondly, they were bringing in people who were suitable for the flat. I lived in a one bed so its not going to be right for everyone but I felt they were bringing in people who would realistically be interested. Additionally, their communication is excellent. They reply to emails quickly, they call you if there is something to discuss and they are honest. They tell you exactly how it is and dont try and waffle their way through the sale. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.
Terrible service. Completely unprofessional handling of communications. Had to chase them down just to get them to respond. Emailed them, took 2 weeks to respond the first time. Then emailed me to schedule a call that day and didn't follow up for a second time. Almost a month later I got an email from them, which I promptly replied to reiterating my interest and for the second time they have not even responded my flat inquiries. Would not recommend at all. Extremely disappointed since the St. John's Wood office was exceptional.
