This pub has been my local for two years and I have come here roughly twice a week. The beer selection is unrivaled and constantly changing. The beer is obviously dealt with perfectly as everything always tastes fresh. It is one big room with tables of all different sizes as well as seats at the bar with an great outside area with big tables open til 9. Everything is wooden. Everyone is always welcome to share the table with another group and the place is loud enough that you're never worried that someone is listening to your conversation.The staff are generally super knowlegable about the beers, giving you tasters and recommendations (special shout out to Joel).The food is good quality and they serve all the pub classics. I've eaten the burger, the roast, the bangers and mash and both of the sandwiches (cheap sausage and fish finger sandwiches available for those on a budget) and they're all good options.The place definitely doesn't need any more patrons but I wanted to leave a review anyway and say that this is my favourite pub in the world.
When one thinks of a London pub I expect a good beer selection and this was among the best. A must for any beer lover and pub goer. Plus the staff are friendly and seating well laid out. Will make sure to go regularly.
Great vibe. If you want an excellent variety of beers to sample, this is the place to go. I have had very good food here in the past too. Its got a great garden out the back for when it gets warmer.
Didn't eat here so I can't speak for the kitchen. The pub is cozy and overall very nice with a lovely garden. Beer selection is great!
Great pub, an excellent range of forever changing beers. Food is pretty good, however it really is the beers you come here for. It can be a little busy sometimes but the atmosphere is always good. Also a really good contender for roast of the year. Superb.
